An Omnium has an open, modular front rack instead of a fixed box. Bags and groceries today, a different load later: compatible modules let the setup change with you. Child transport always requires a separately confirmed setup.
One bike can grow with your life and replace many everyday car trips in Rotterdam. Work, school and shopping on two wheels: how much you can leave the car behind depends on your routes, load and family.

Omnium designs Cargo and Mini-Max as light, manoeuvrable cargo bikes. Unloaded, the manufacturer says they ride like a normal bike. You do not need to be a dedicated strength athlete to consider one. Final weight depends on the build: E-Cargo also carries a motor and battery, and modules and loads add weight. Try steering, mounting, stopping and parking yourself, initially unloaded.
Recently given birth and keen to cycle again? You have nothing to prove. Recovery varies: discuss when cycling is appropriate with your midwife, doctor or pelvic health physiotherapist. A light bike or electric assistance does not mean your body is ready. Build up gently when it is appropriate for you.

Is an Omnium a conventional box cargo bike?
An Omnium is a cargo bike with a front rack, not a standard enclosed family box. Modules adapt it to your load. If you mainly want children in a protective box, first discuss whether this concept and a confirmed child setup suit you.
Cargo V3 or Mini-Max: what differs?
Mini-Max has a shorter wheelbase and emphasizes manoeuvrability and compact parking. Cargo V3 has a longer wheelbase for versatile loads. Your cargo, access and riding feel determine the choice.
When should I choose electric assistance?
E-Cargo is worth exploring if assistance suits your route and load. Distance alone does not decide it. Compare loaded starts, wind, bridges, charging and the exact motor version. We do not promise a fixed range.
Can an Omnium carry children?
Only with a confirmed setup for the exact model and child, installed correctly according to instructions. Discuss age, weight, seat, mounting and protection with Thomas first. This chooser does not approve child setups.
What does an Omnium cost at Cords Cycles?
It depends on the model, complete build and modules. Request a current quote. Configurator amounts are build estimates, not confirmed selling prices or stock indications. Consider servicing, security and insurance too.
