Mechanical 12-speed groupset combining racing performance with endurance comfort; also available as a rim-brake variant.
Atelier selection
Four official studio photos (non-lifestyle) sourced directly from campagnolo.com component images (rear derailleur, front derailleur, crankset, Ergopower shift/brake lever) for the current 12-speed Chorus Disc Brake groupset.
Chorus 12 is published separately as a disc-brake and a rim-brake groupset on campagnolo.com; the configurator's original source pointed to the generic campagnolo.com homepage and has been corrected here to the specific disc-brake product page.
These are our configurator packages, not necessarily the manufacturer’s stock specification.

More gears can give smaller steps but do not tell you how easy climbing will be. Climbers and loaded riders should consider the lowest gear; fast flat-road riders cadence steps and the highest gear.
Electronic shifting offers light, consistent operation but needs charged batteries. Mechanical shifting needs no charging and often suits tighter budgets. On gravel, chain control and the right derailleur also matter; choose a coherent package.
Hydraulic disc brakes can provide strong, controllable braking, especially in rain and descents. Rim brakes require a suitable frame and braking surface. For loads and long descents, consider the complete brake, rotor, mounting and heat-management combination.
The cassette and chainrings determine gearing together. A larger biggest sprocket generally makes climbs easier; closely spaced sprockets give smaller cadence changes on flat routes. For hills or luggage, choose a sufficiently low gear within derailleur capacity.
